Dr. Pramanik has received surgical training at the University of Iowa, annually ranked among the top training programs in the country. He is among the most experienced cornea transplant surgeons specializing in DMEK, DSEK and DALK in Maryland and central Pennsylvania.

Training & Expertise

To give you the best possible service and results, we are committed to continual education and learning. Dr. Pramanik regularly presents his research at national and international meetings such as the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Unite for Sight Conference, and the All India Ophthalmological Society. He is an instructor in training courses at the American Academy of Ophthalmology in advanced corneal transplant techniques. Also, being a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Maryland Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Ophthalmology helps us to stay abreast of the latest in technology and therapeutics.
